Our Story

MVE is a family owned women’s clothing boutique, led by Melissa Duncan and run alongside her sister Stephanie.

It started back in 2008 with a simple idea: getting dressed should make you feel good. Not stressed. Not awkward. Not like you need a whole new personality just to wear the outfit.

For Mel, fashion has always been about the feeling. That little shift when you put something on and think, “Ok, I feel like me again.” That is the part we care about most.
MVE is for the women who are still showing up. To dinners, birthdays, long lunches, girls’ nights, date nights, and the everyday moments that deserve more than “this’ll do.” Because it’s giving elevated.

We design and curate pieces that feel current, wearable and easy to style. The kind of pieces you can throw on with denim, dress up for dinner, pack for a weekend away, or wear on repeat without overthinking it.

Nothing too serious. Nothing too precious. Just clothes that make you feel put together, confident and a little bit hot. As they should.

Behind the scenes, it is still very much a small family business. Mel works across the creative, styling and product side, while Steph helps make sure customers are looked after properly. Because no tea, no shade, cute clothes are great, but good service matters too.

Our goal is simple: to help more women feel good in what they wear. Whether you are rebuilding your wardrobe, dressing for real-life plans, or just need something that makes you feel like yourself again, MVE is here for that.
